Objective:
The objective of this experiment is to expose students to the process of optimizing asphalt concrete mix used for highway construction as part of mix design process.
In this
test, the students will carry out the Marshall tests for stability and flows of
asphalt for specimens prepared in Experiment No. 6 and thus determine the
effect of asphalt content on stability and flow.
