Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR)

The Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) is designed for studying homogeneous liquid-phase reactions under steady-state conditions. The reactor contents are continuously mixed so that the composition remains uniform throughout the vessel, with the outlet stream having approximately the same composition as the reactor contents.

The unit is particularly suitable for demonstrating a non-catalytic, homogeneous second-order liquid-phase reaction under ambient conditions.
