glass tube. A loose fitting piston attached to a 1.2 meter long sounding rod at the other end of the glass tube, fitted on a wooden base.
Square section with tapered mouthpiece, made of polished wood, with graduated sliding piston,
square in section having a knob at the end for easy handling. The slider is marked with a diatonic scale. It is used to investigate phenomenon of beats in
conjunction with a second pipe of same type. Approx. overall length when extended 840mm.
Overall length when fully extended is about 840 mm approx., 540 mm when closed, stoppered, and made of
varnished wood with movable piston marked with the chromatic scale from C (256) to (512).
It consists of a tube 100cm long, 25mm dia mounted on a stand which is fitted with leveling screws.
The lower end of the rubber tubing provided is connected to the 500ml glass reservoir which slides on a metal rod and can be raised or lowered for adjusting
the length of column of air. It is used to measure the velocity of sound waves in air at room temperature by using a tuning fork.
Glass Tube approx. 84cm long and 2.5cm dia mounted on retort stand with clamp and boss, with
500ml glass bulb supported on iron ring, connecting rubber tubing and spring clip.
It comprises two aluminium tubes telescoping into each other, so that the column of air
within the tubes may be altered from 30 cms to 53 cms, outer tube fits into a wooden base.
Comprising two plastic tubes one 305 x 32 mm diameter, the other 305 x 25 mm diameter. The
small tube slides within the other in foam plastic collars, allowing the air column length to be varied from 300 to 530 mm.
The apparatus consists of a wooden framed tray with a plate glass base and detachable legs, overall size of
tray 600x 520x 56mm deep.
A pair of support rods with integral ‘G’ clamps is provided which can be attached to the sides of
the tank and used to carry the wave generating system. A set of 4 metal barriers (reflectors) is included consisting of a pair of ...
The apparatus consists of a framed tray with a plexi glass base and detachable legs, overall size of tray 600 x 520 x 56 mm deep. A pair of support rods with integral 'G' clamps is provided which can be attached to the sides of the tank and used to carry the wave generating system. A set of 4 metal barriers (reflectors) is included consisting of a pair of straight barriers 150 x 25 mm, ...
This unit provides continuously variable D.C outputs for the ripple tank motor, together
with a fixed A.C output to operate lamp, supplied with a detachable mains lead.
With four toothed wheels each 75 mm dia, fixed 6 mm apart on a shaft, projecting as spindle with
slight taper at its end. Wheels have 36, 45, 54, and 72 teeth respectively, used with whirling table.
Simple type model, it comprises a wooden board 700 x 90 mm (L x W) on four feet, fitted with two steel
wires about 0.3mm x 1m (dia x length). At one end of base there are two 50 N spring balances with hooks and at the other end are two wrest pins, supplied
complete with three bridges, one large, to span both wires and two small bridges for individual wires, two steel wires 0.3 mm dia. x 1 ...
Comprising a hollow wooden resonance box, with two meter rules graduated in millimetres, mounted on top
on either side along the length.
One each of brass and steel wires of different diameter attached to fixed bridge on one end of the box and
tensioned by wrest pins at the other end.
Mounted on sturdy streamlined base with provision for horizontal or vertical use, fork is
manufactured from selected steel. Prong is 10 x 25 x 300 mm. accurate frequency adjustment, vibrations rate 60 per second. Electromagnet can work on 6 Volts.
The amplitude of vibration can vary by sliding the electromagnet inside the prongs.
On sturdy streamlined base with provision for horizontal
or vertical use. Forks is manufactured from selected steel. Prong is 10 x 25 x 300 mm. accurate frequency adjustment, chrome plated, vibrations rate 60 per
seconds. Electromagnet can work on 6 volts. The amplitude of vibration can vary by sliding there electromagnet inside prongs. Complete with bench clamp,
pulley, and scale pan.
It comprises two tuning forks each of frequency 426 Hz on two separate
resonance boxes. One fork is fitted with adjustable loading mass. When both forks are sounded together, a clearly audible beat is produced. Rate of beats
depends on difference in frequencies. This difference can be increased by changing the loading mass.
Three Tuning forks are mounted on three wooden resonance boxes dimensions of which are
compatible with frequency of the forks to produce a strong sustained tone. Forks are nickel plated with shanks to screw in the bushes on the top of the
boxes. Each set supplied with rubber headed hammer.
Nickel-plated, plain shanks, with frequency marked, C (256), D (288), E (320), F (341), G (384), A
(426), B (480), C (512). Complete set of EIGHT tuning forks, supplied in case.
Four tuning forks are mounted on a single proper sized resonance box to produce a major
chord. Forks have frequencies of C1 256, E 320 Hz, G 384 Hz and C2 512 Hz. When struck together with hammer, the forks will produce the chord of C major,
supplied with one hammer.
This apparatus is an improvement over the conventional apparatus to show
the effects of vibrations in a stretched cord and examine the relationship between frequency, tension and density.
A thin steel rod is clamped near
one end through two 4 mm socket terminals. This rod passes through the centre of a small solenoid and between the poles of a magnet.

For demonstration of wave motion, pulses, reflection and interference, steel wire close wound helix, 19
mm diameter closed length 3 meters extending to approximately 9 meters.
For demonstrating longitudinal and transverse motion, consisting of a number of eccentric discs
supporting a series of metal rods on revolving the handle, transverse waves are obtained. Longitudinal waves are obtained with bent rods running in metal
guide on metal base.
Stand overall height 43 cm. for use in vertical or horizontal position, fitted with hand wheel and wire
helix belt drive to pulley. Suitable for use with Savart’s wheel and disc and adopter to accommodate color discs.
For demonstrating the movement of progressive transverse waves, comprises 22 small balls on wire
rods, with eccentric motion attachment, with driving handle and fitted on polished wooden base.
